Spatial Completes Factory Acceptance Testing On 3 Brand New Cabin Crew Training Devices With LOT Polish Airlines
Three new training devices approved ahead of installation at the Polish Aviation Academy training centre.
Ras al Khaimah, UAE. Spatial, the world’s leading provider of cabin crew training simulators, has successfully completed factory acceptance testing for three new training devices with representatives from the Polish Aviation Academy.
The devices include a B787 main cabin Door Trainer, an EMB 170/190 main door and over-wing exit trainer, and a B737 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET). Together, these devices will equip crews with the practical skills required to operate aircraft doors across multiple aircraft types.
The B737 CEET incorporates several advanced features, including dynamic visual systems, fire and smoke simulation and decompression scenarios, providing a highly realistic training environment. The Polish Aviation Academy intends to utilise the devices to support training for its partner airlines, including LOT Polish Airlines.
Marc Van Den Broucque, Managing Director at Spatial, said:
“We were pleased to welcome representatives from the Polish Aviation Academy to our facility for the factory acceptance testing and look forward to installing the devices in Warsaw shortly.”
Bartosz Piechota, Vice-President at Polish Aviation Group, said:
“As part of the Polish Aviation Academy project, we are continuously developing our simulator centre to support both existing and future crews of LOT and other carriers. Thanks to our partnership with Spatial, our academy will be equipped with three new training devices: a Boeing 737 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer, a Boeing 787 Door Trainer and an Embraer 170/190 Door Trainer.
The availability of this specialist equipment close to the LOT base will improve planning efficiency for crews while supporting more cost-effective training operations. As safety remains the highest priority for all airlines, this investment will further strengthen the training capabilities available to our pilots and cabin crew.”
