Spatial has been awarded the contract for an A320/A321 cabin emergency evacuation trainer by a major national carrier, which will be one of the first cabin trainers to feature Airbus’ redesigned semi-automatic OWE.
The device will be built at Spatial’s facility in the UAE and shipped to its final destination. The device will be feature some of Spatial’s cutting edge technologies including dual virtual slide trainers and the first outing for Spatial’s next generation cabin window visuals alongside fire and smoke simulation, decompression simulation and door operations across three functional doors with a variety of instructor-selectable door malfunctions.
A full cockpit mock-up will be included for secure cockpit entry procedures and pilot incapacitation training.
