Aircraft-identical trainer approved following factory acceptance testing in Dubai.
Ras al Khaimah, UAE. Spatial recently welcomed Vincent Hsu, Instructor, and Jim Chou, Assistant Engineer from China Airlines to its manufacturing facility to complete factory acceptance testing for a new Boeing 787 Door Trainer.
The acceptance testing was led by Spatial Project Manager Sampson Ulasevich, PMP®, confirming the device’s readiness for delivery and installation.
Manufactured at Spatial’s facility using original Boeing data, the aircraft-identical trainer replicates the operation of the Boeing 787 door system within a controlled training environment. The device also incorporates an integrated Virtual Slide Trainer, enabling cabin crew to practise evacuation procedures with enhanced realism.
Following completion of factory acceptance testing, the trainer will be shipped to the China Airlines training centre, where Spatial’s installation team will carry out final commissioning ahead of operational training.
